Essential Job Functions:
 

• 
  

• Design and generate complete, concise documentation in order that design may be correctly and accurately fabricated by vendors, received by incoming inspection, assembled and tested by production personnel in accordance with international requirements for electrical and electronic equipment.
• Applies standard Electronics Engineering practices and procedures using sound technical judgment to create Electronics/electrical design concepts that satisfy or exceeds product requirements and/or make major and minor modifications and enhancement to existing Electronics/electrical designs.
• Plans and schedules work assignments and tasks in coordination with overall project objectives.  Meet project design and documentation goals within predetermined time frames.
• Develop testing & validation plan and either conduct or direct other personnel in carrying out such plans including meeting the requirements for international standards for Electrical Safety, EMC, Machinery, and Environment (RoHS, WEEE, REACH, etc).
• Analyze data and results, reporting the observations and explaining/correcting anomalies, and making sound technical conclusions.

 
Requirements:
 

• 
  

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related discipline and 5 to 10 years of experience in hardware development with emphasis on embedded system and medical devices.
• Knowledge of computer assisted design tools and analysis packages
• Knowledge and experience with embedded software (firmware) design, development and testing standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, routinely changing environment.
