KJ is seeking Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineers to support our growing team with various levels of experience. These roles can be located in Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, and California.Key Responsibilities:

• Work on challenging projects in the mining and metals, aerospace, pulp and paper mill, food and beverage, and manufacturing industries.
• Work in a collegial and supportive multi-disciplined team-based environment on projects from initial planning stages through design construction, and startup operations.
• Responsible for the delivery of industrial engineering design and construction in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and California.
• Industrial engineering design, chemical and process calculations, bench and pilot testing, and providing engineering services during construction of projects.Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical or other related field.
  • 5 - 15 years of engineering experience in planning, engineering, design, construction and commissioning (multiple opportunities at various levels of experience).
  • Prior engineering experience with industrial water, industrial wastewater, mechanical infrastructure, system controls, process automation, water/mass balances, or process design is preferred.
  • Project development oversight and project management, including scope, schedule, fee preparation, negotiation, project staffing, and coordination of activities related to planning, design, and construction.
  • Travel to client and project sites for client visits/meetings and other travel to other Kennedy Jenks offices will be necessary.
  • Leverage existing client relationships to expand services.
  • Depending on years of experience, Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (or must have the ability to obtain your EIT within one-year of employment), or Professional Engineer license is preferred.
