Work Arrangement:Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid.
This means the successful candidate is expected to report to one of
the following locations: Detroit, MI, Warren, MI or Mountain View,
CA, you are expected to report to that location three times a week,
at minimum.The Ideal Candidate:Connectivity plays a pivotal role in
using and advancing technology to offer unparalleled customer
experience and develop revenue generating streams while acting as
cornerstone to offer safety critical, hands-free driving solutions
in line with General Motor's strong safety culture. We are seeking
a highly skilled and motivated Connectivity Module Hardware
Engineer with a strong background in 5G, BT, Wi-Fi, BLE, UWB, and
NFC technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience
in hardware design, including system architecture, schematics
capture, thermal analysis, and layout related to power circuitry,
PCB flooring plan, RF front end, etc. to develop best in class
Connectivity systems for General Motor's vehicles.The Role:The
Digital Key Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for the
design, development, function/performance validation, and issue
resolution, of hardware components and systems that support digital
key technologies across all GM vehicles and architectures. This
role is tightly coupled to cross-functional teams, including
vehicle integration, product managers, and system engineers, to
create secure and reliable digital key solutions and assist in
defining future technology roadmaps and resolution of issues that
arise throughout development and production.What You'll do:
