A career with us is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the best civil engineers and construction managers.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Staff Engineer with two to three years of experience. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is organized, has solid communication skills, can work independently, is team oriented, and personable. This position requires a dependable, versatile individual who has experience in civil engineering design. Candidates are required to have California EIT Registration, and preferably are in the process of obtaining the PE license. This position will be based in our San Mateo office.Responsibilities:

• Works under direction to prepare designs, reports, and calculations in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards
• Works to ensure projects are on schedule, within budget and meet the requirements of our clientsRequired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum two to three years of demonstrated design and plan preparation experience
  • California EIT Registration; actively pursuing a California PE License
  • Current experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented, with strong attention to detail
  • Solid experience with the MS Office SuiteWe offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan.
