Team is a global organization that supports all critical
infrastructure services with a security and automation first
attitude and practice. The team is involved in many projects to
improve our capabilities and services offered to the entire
company. We are at the forefront of establishing the guidelines and
recommended approaches for operating and sustaining such
platforms.The Staff Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for
designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network and
systems infrastructure solutions. This role requires a deep
understanding of network and systems technologies and the ability
to lead complex IT/OT projects. The ideal candidate will ensure the
reliability, security, and efficiency of our network to support our
business operations.Where you come in:
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced infrastructure,
including LAN, WAN, Wireless, Servers, Storage, Virtualization,
Windows and Linux.
- Lead complex infrastructure projects from planning to
execution.
- Develop and enforce infrastructure policies, procedures, and
standards to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues to
minimize downtime and ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to support
business initiatives and projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network
engineers.
- Know the latest with new technologies and manufacturing
industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry
standard methodologies.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures for
infrastructure.
- Provide technical expertise and support for network-related
incidents and escalations.What makes you successful:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology,
or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in network and systems engineering in a
manufacturing environment.
- Shown experience in designing and running large-scale
manufacturing infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and
security technologies.
- Proficiency in network-related programming languages and
scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and social skills.
- Solid experience in managing complete infrastructure including
the following technologies:
- Routing/Switching/Wireless (Cisco, Extreme, Arista)
- Firewalls (Palo Alto)
- Load Balancing (Citrix NetScaler)
- Hypervisor (VMware vSphere and Hyper-V)
- Storage (Dell PowerStore, PowerMAX and NetApp)
- Windows/Linux Operating System and Services
- Compute (Dell Blade and Rack-Mount Servers)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, MCSE, VCP) are
highly desirable.Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical
discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or
Master's degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a
PhD and 2-4 years of experience.Please note: The information
