In this role, you will focus on designing and developing subsystems for the our client, with an emphasis on scalable solutions that solve real-world problems. If you love building, tinkering, and turning ideas into tangible results, this role is perfect for you. You will work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure every component and subsystem contributes to a seamless, high-quality customer experience.Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and prototype mechanical subsystems for the Machine, focusing on functionality, scalability, and manufacturability.
  • Solve challenging engineering problems by applying creative and practical solutions.
  • Perform detailed analyses, including structural, thermal, and motion studies, to optimize subsystem performance.
  • Collaborate with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems.
  • Develop CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Evaluate and select materials, components, and manufacturing methods to meet design and cost requirements.
  • Support the assembly, testing, and validation of prototypes and final systems.
  • Incorporate feedback from testing and iteration cycles to refine designs and improve system reliability.Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • 0-3 years of experience in mechanical design, prototyping, or manufacturing (internships and project experience count!).
    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent).
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, scalable solutions.
    • Hands-on experience with prototyping and building mechanical systems.
    • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
    • Passion for building and creating innovative solutions that make an impact.Preferred Skills
      • Experience with motion systems, fluid dynamics, or thermal analysis.
      • Knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
      • Familiarity with automation or robotics systems.
