This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and exceptional client engagement skills. You will oversee the execution of projects, mentor and develop a team of engineers, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our customer engineering operations.You will play a critical part in bridging the gap between our cutting-edge technology solutions and customer needs. You will work directly with customers to understand their challenges, design and implement custom solutions, and ensure successful deployment and integration of their existing systems with Rippling. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and customer-focused professional who is excited about solving real-world problems and making a significant impact on customer success.What you will do

  • Lead and manage the Customer Engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of customer projects.
  • Attract, retain and develop top talent to build and scale the team.
  • Develop and implement processes that will drive delivery of customer outcomes, optimize team performance, enable the team to scale.
  • Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial scoping to post-deployment troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Identify and develop new use cases for Rippling applications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across account teams, product management and engineering teams to ensure alignment of customer needs with our product roadmap and capabilities.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing technical teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Customer-centric mindset. Experience working directly with customers and leading successful project delivery.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (up to 25% travel).The pay range for this role is: 156,000 - 273,000 USD per year (US San Francisco Bay Area)
