talk!About the OpportunityEmergency Medical Technicians (EMTs)
provide emergent and non-emergent medical care to patients being
transported by PT-1 Ambulance. EMTs for PT-1 travel to partner
facilities, patient homes, and/or events requiring services. In
partnership with another EMT or higher qualified clinicians, PT-1
EMTs provide quality care to the treatment level
required.Compensation: $20.96/hr - $24.80/hrEssential Duties &
ResponsibilitiesProvides patient care under stressful and
non-stressful situationsCommunicates proficiently and effectively
with hospital staff and co-workersEmergency scene management under
stressful and non-stressful situationsResponsible for cleaning and
operating ambulance equipmentResponsible for providing basic life
support duties independently, as well as follow the direction of a
higher qualified clinicianPresents themselves in a professional,
courteous and punctual wayResponsible for other related duties
deemed necessary to meet the needs of the CompanyMinimum
RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalentMust be at least
18 years of ageMust be able to communicate and understand English,
verbally and writtenTwo (2) or more years of driving experienceMust
possess or receive, and maintain, current certification/licensure
in the following:Current and valid California driver's licenseEMT
certificationCPR through the American Heart AssociationCalifornia
Ambulance Driver Certificate (DL 61)DL51 (Medical Examiners
Certificate)Must be current in local, state and federally mandated
trainingMust maintain current industry standards through continuing
educationMust have completed all mandatory training including
mandatory testingFEMA certifications, as requiredOther state or
