TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Oakland, California, 94611 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Maternal Child Health (MCH) Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have: - ACLS certification - Winter plan requirement Job Description: - Provide specialized nursing care for newborns in critical condition within the NICU. - Monitor and assess the health of premature or ill infants. - Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment designed for neonatal care. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate and provide support to families of patients in the NICU. - Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient. - Adhere to all medical protocols and safety guidelines to ensure high-quality care. - Stay current with best practices and advancements in neonatal intensive care. This position requires a passionate nursing professional dedicated to making a significant impact on neonatal health outcomes.
