Position: Senior Software Engineer (SSE2522)


Responsible for developing software to productize cutting-edge machine learning algorithms and integrate them into a sophisticated trading pipeline, encompassing areas such as machine learning, finance, and software engineering. Engage in complex projects from inception to completion, including gathering requirements, translating them into rational software designs, effectively reasoning about supporting or dependent technologies, and maintaining clear communication with teammates. Responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently, exercising sound judgment in choosing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results. Build relationships cross-functionally and with other product teams, working effectively with key stakeholders to solve problems and make decisions. Communicate complex technical issues simply and openly share information with all stakeholders. Write insightful documentation, ensuring clarity and understanding across the team.


This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and 1 year of related experience. Must also have demonstrated experience with each of the following: 1) Formulating complex optimization problems and designing algorithms to solve them; 2) Using Python, R, C, and C++ programming languages; 3) Using Git, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Linux OS; 4) Using Pytest, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Numpy; and 5) Developing software that leverages parallel computing power to enhance performance and efficiency. The employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Experience may have been gained before, during, or after Bachelor's degree program.Salary: $130,250 to $165,000/year.
