Job SummaryAs a Team Leader for the Seafood department, you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects. You will lead and develop Team Members, ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members at all times.Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Development: Lead and develop Team Members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in their roles.
• Operational Management: Assist the Team Leader in managing daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, and regulatory compliance.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.
• Special Projects: Assist the Team Leader with special projects, such as inventory management, product merchandising, and store layout.Requirements
  • Experience: 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory. Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills. Capable of teaching others in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.Physical Requirements
    • Lifting: Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • Standing/Walking: In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
