Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It's time to build.We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and test critical hardware components of our humanoid.Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual designs and conduct trade studies to support key design decisions
• Design and validate PCBAs for critical components of the Humanoid like power distribution boards, battery management systems, sensing boards, motor controllers or compute boards
• Contribute to the definition of our PCBA design and test process
• Support the review of design artifacts (schematics, layouts, bill of materials---) from your peers or external suppliers
• Support system integration and test activities by contributing to test execution and debuggingRequirements:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of industry experience
  • Solid EE fundamentals with hands-on experience designing, building, and testing PCBAs
  • Mastery of Altium (or similar EDA tools) in both schematics and layout
  • Mastery of power electronics (motor driver, switch mode power supplies---), digital electronics (MCU, FPGA, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C---), and analog electronics (filters, ADC/DAC---)
  • Mastery of debugging HW issues. You know how to attack a problem, document, and come up with solutions quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skillsBonus Qualifications:
    • Experience using LTspice, Python, and Matlab
    • Embedded programming of DSPs, microcontrollers, and FPGAs
    • Experience with Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical CAD tools (Catia, SolidWorks---)The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $140,000 - $190,000 annually.The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role.
