English Copy Editor Consultant

Job Description:

A company is looking for an International Consultant - English Copy Editor (Retainer), Home based.

Key Responsibilities

Provide editing, proofreading, and rewriting services for knowledge products and publications
Make revisions based on the UN editorial style manual and ensure consistent style and formatting throughout documents
Thoroughly review annexes and prepare a complete table of Contents and Acronyms if needed

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in English Literature, Journalism, or a related field; Bachelor's degree with substantial experience may substitute
At least 5 years of professional experience in editing, copyediting, and proofreading
Proven record in editing knowledge products and communications materials for external audiences
Native-level proficiency in oral and written English; computer literacy required
Familiarity with gender equality and women's issues is desired
