- Job Details
- Job Description: Performs extracorporeal bypass on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient population.
- Operates heart-lung machine to regulate blood circulation and composition, to administer drugs and anesthetic agents, to control body temperature or respiratory failure during surgery.
- Monitors and observes operation of heart-lung machine and patients physiologic variables such as blood temperature, blood composition and flow rate and adjust equipment to maintain normal body functions.
  - Job Requirements
  - Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
  - BLS (AHA)
  - ACLS
  - 2 years recent experience
  - Graduate of accredited perfusion program
    - Schedule Information
    - Shift: 5 x 8 Days, 0700-1500/1530-2330 Variable Shift; no call or floating, but weekend requirement as needed
